Our elite team of workers has gained their experiences as teachers, school principals, superintendents of education, and presidents on the college and university levels. Dr. Glenn Cassimy
D. Min., M.A., M.Div., B.A.
As the Director of IBEI, Principal, Director of Curriculum and Instruction, and Superintendent of Education, Dr. Glenn Cassimy has dedicated his life to improving education. His experience as an educator has afforded him the opportunity to work with students from all walks of life in countries around the world. It is his mission to ensure that each and every student has access to a quality education that will enable them to achieve their dreams.
Assistant Director
Jennifer Bolejack-Ortiz

As a teacher, school administrator, and technology and classroom instruction specialist, Jennifer has worked in education for over 20 years and has been a part of many exciting improvements to the students under her tutelage and the schools she managed. Technology in the classroom is significant towards student learning. Jennifer contributes her skills to the IBEI education team force by identifying online support tools and services to support teachers in classroom instruction.

Dr. Sylvian Lashley
J.D., Ed.D., M.E.L., M.B.A., M.A.
As a highly experienced educator, Dr. Sylvian Lashley has worn many hats throughout his career. He has been a College President, University President, Superintendent of Education, Attorney, and Online School Specialist. In each of these positions, he has strived to provide quality education and opportunities for students of all ages.
Dr. Lashley brings that vast training to IBEI, and is a major contributor to the curriculum and programs offered through IBEI.
Director of Marketing
Evan Cassimy
Ph.D. (candidate), M.B.A., B.A., B.S.
Evan’s experiences and training in teaching, the humanities, business administration and Spanish language have positioned him to be an effective partner and contributor to IBEI. He has worked in human resources for almost 10 years and has gained experience in various industries including healthcare, IT, supply chain and logistics, gaming and entertainment, customer service, and education.
Specialist: Mental Health & Achievement
Warren Boykin
B.A., C.R.S.S.
Warren Boykin is a director of mental health support groups. His academic training in Political Science afforded him insights as a school parent coordinator, about how politics impacts education funding. Warren is highly qualified and possesses sophisticated insights into the field of student mental health. As IBEI partners work collaboratively with local districts and schools to improve school climate and consequently and student and staff well-being, focus on mental health is given priority.

Cynthia Lake-Asfaw

Cynthia is a highly qualified Special Education and Reading Specialist. With over 20 years of experience in the field, Cynthia has worked with students of all ages and backgrounds. She possesses a wealth of knowledge about students with special needs and she brings that background to the IBEI team of educators. Cynthia is dedicated to her work and takes great pride in making a difference in the lives of her students.
Technologist
Dr. Jerry Thompson
Ph.D.(candidate), MBA, B.A.
As a Business Education Specialist, Jerry Thompson worked with schools and students for over15 years. He has extensive knowledge and academic training in computer systems and networking. He possesses an innate understanding of the needs of schools as they move forward in upgrading their technology to current academic demands. Jerry Thompson provides innovative solutions that help schools grow as technology changes. As a member of the IBEI team, Dr. Thompson provides the link between emerging technologies and classroom instruction today.
